Slack is a team communication tool that has been indispensable within our small but distributed team. It’s grown like wildfire among teams that use Dribbble, too, so last week we released Dribbble for Slack, one of several new Slash Commands announced on the Slack Blog. The /dribbble Slash Command allows you to search for shots from Dribbble using a keyword or color and have them show up right in your Slack room. If you love Slack as much as we do, add the integration for your team.

When we weren’t playing with the new /dribbble slash command on Slack last week, we were attending a few Dribbble Meetups! Our East Coasters met up with Dribbblers at HubSpot HQ and had a rousing Analog Playoff. Photo from Analog Playoff winner, Kerry Laurentia.

Down South, we attended Austin’s 25th Dribbble Meetup. They had a special activity to celebrate—working on a community t-shirt. Instead of having one person design a t-shirt for the community, organizer Sophie Shepherd, wanted to get everyone involved. Dribbblers were asked to draw illustrations that represented Austin which will be patch worked together on a shirt and printed up thanks to Funsize. Lookout for them at the next @atxdribbble meetup! If you’re looking to get involved with your local Dribbble Meetup, check out the meetups page and find one near you.
