Dropbox Playoff Winners

Last week, Dropbox held an official rebound playoff, and 280+ Dribbble players flexed their creative muscle and came up with some excellent takes on the Dropbox logo.

We’re happy to announce that Find Designers, a powerful tool for searching designers by location, skill and other criteria, can now be accessed by anyone. Long available to players (designers invited to post their work) who have purchased Pro accounts, we’ve explored a lot of product and pricing options to expose this feature to a wider population.

The buzzer just went off on our latest rebound playoff. 205 Dribbblers answered the question, “What’s your favorite place on Earth?”. We had some wonderful entries, as usual.

Last Thursday night, Rich and I trekked down to Manhattan to attend a special Dribbble meetup hosted by our friends at Squarespace. When we arrived in SOHO, we quickly realized this wasn’t going to be just another meetup. The folks at Squarespace had designed a team competition: Renting a mini hoop basketball game, using the Dribbble API to assign attendees to color-coded, headbanded teams. Team members’ profiles were displayed along with their shots and projected on the wall.
