Threadless Playoff Challenge Results

Our most successful playoff to date has come to a close. Two weeks and 469 rebounds later, the Dribbble + Threadless Playoff Challenge was a ton of fun to watch, and the t-shirt concepts the Dribbble community came up with were creative, funny, unique, clever, and other positive adjectives.

Last week, our friends at Dropbox hosted a big Dribbble meetup at their amazing office in San Francisco. Swag and t-shirts were handed out, arcade hoops tournaments were played, 20 feet of Beef Wellington was served, drinks were drunk, card magic was performed by Tim Silva, and around 200 designers from the Bay Area mingled with the Dropbox design team, as well as Dan and Rich from Dribbble.

Today we welcome our fifth (FIFTH!) team member. We’re thrilled that Patrick Byrne has joined us as a Developer starting this week.

Take a tour of Dribbble HQ

This Memorial Day weekend, towns across America host parades to celebrate citizens who have served in the military. We like to think of Dribbble as a small, exquisitely designed town, and so we present a virtual parade of our own hometown heroes.

It’s been a long night/morning for us here at Dribbble HQ. We profusely apologize for the downtime, and can’t thank you all enough for your patience while we get back on track. Last night at approximately 8pm EDT, our database server went belly up and we’ve been working non-stop since then to bring the site back up. 

Around 8PM EDT this evening, Dribbble went down as the result of what appears to be some issues with database corruption. We’ve been working since then to resolve these issues, with the good folks at RubyTune assisting us.
