As part of Playbook customization, we’re excited to provide a few select fonts to choose from—two of those from the IB Type collection. We were lucky enough to chat with letter, logo, and font designer Ian Brignell about his design process in our first Overtime episode.
Interested in using a IB Type font? When customizing your Playbook, choose from Brignell Slab or Brignell Sunday.
Brignell describes Slab as:
“A slab serif characterized by a soft, swelled treatment on the curved letters where you would normally see vertical serifs. This feature allows for a smoother, less toothy reading effect.”
Looking for something a bit more modern?
Brignell describes Sunday as:
“A clean, modern, friendly sans in an open style with occasionally rounded corners, curved junctions on the diagonals and a slightly sloped lower case ‘a.’”
