In the early days of Dribbble meetups, organizers posted up the pertinent where-when facts in black and white on a meetup board. Now the Posting of the Meetup Shot has become an event in its own right, the revelation of a graphic teaser designed first and foremost to attract. The details follow.

Miami designer and meetup organizer Fabio Perez has created several meetup shots, and shared his approach with us.

“There’s tons of fun and a little bit of challenge that go into making these Meetup pieces. For starters, you are making an invitation to a group of designers, a lot of them crazy talented. So, right there, you know you gotta bring your A game. Make sure the piece conveys the fun and relaxed environment of these events. And last but not least, put your city’s flavor on it.”

Below, Fabio’s Miami Dribbble Meetup Small (middle left), plus 8 more shots from 8 meet-upping Dribbblers from the last six months.
