Since Last Week
We caught up with Britian-bred, Germany-living illustrator Mitch Blunt in Timeout. We also posted some of our own work via shots. Dan shared his in-progress work on profiles and Patrick talked HTML templates. Take it away, Patrick:
"Dan has been hard at work designing some clean, informative HTML templates and I’ve been building out the back-end. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the tremendous help that Litmus has provided, showing us how our HTML looks in dozens of email clients to make sure that everyone can see what we’re saying.”
Meetup Wrap-up
Boston, Massachusetts, Thursday, May 1
Cantina digital agency threw a great Meetup, inviting attendees not only to experience the usual swill and swag, but also discussed tools “that make using Dribbble a pivotal part of our work/process,” said Meetup organizer Amber Miro Heinbockel, Cantina’s creative director. “We swapped and shared a bunch outside of the few we used in the deck. Then we had a lighthearted discussion of the stuff designers do, then we opened the floor … we talked about process, how we incorporate Dribbble as a tool, how Dribbble has helped different creatives hire. It was a great Meetup!”
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Thursday, May 8
Organizer Ryan Bannon of Meetup host Playground reports back: “The Meetup was great, we had about 70 people out and the feedback has been incredibly positive. We didn’t take a lot of pictures during the event, but this one of the preparation [featuring Playground front-end dev Bogdan Balan] is pretty great.” Thank you to Playground’s other organizer, Dave Senior, and to Dribbble Meetup partner Shopify.
