Celebrating Pride Month Through Design

Dribbble is proud to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community through design. We’ve curated a selection of impactful Pride-themed artwork from our talented designers, each sharing their connection to the work and the deeper meaning behind their creations. These designs showcase the power of love, unity, and inclusion and how design can be a tool for expression, solidarity, and celebration.

Efi: Happy Pride Month #LGBTQ

Efi’s design takes inspiration from Michelangelo’s iconic “The Creation of Adam,” reimagining it with a bold and unapologetic Pride twist. The piece is about reclaiming symbolism and queering the classics, blending minimal motion with striking typography.

This design isn’t just visually captivating, it’s a statement of pride and power.

“It’s about making a subtle yet clear gesture, a message that is unapologetic in its celebration of Pride.”

Beth: Google Play Pride 2024

Created for Google Play’s Pride campaign, Beth’s artwork commemorates the Stonewall Riots and celebrates the strength and diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community. Inspired by the 70s illustration style, Beth’s design weaves symbolism throughout, from the broken bricks representing the riots to the flowers, animals, and music that speak to growth and peace.

“I wanted to create artwork that was both powerful and joyful,” Beth shares. “It’s about celebrating the community while breaking through barriers.”

Octavo: Pride Month

For Octavo, supporting the LGBTQ+ community goes beyond Pride Month; it’s a core value of the company. Inspired by vintage “Greetings from…” travel postcards, this graphic captures Pride’s warmth, individuality, and creativity. The vibrant palette reflects the diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community, directly influenced by the Pride flag, while the playful unicorn adds a whimsical twist, embodying Octavo’s creative spirit.

“Whether through inclusive design, active allyship, or simply being a safe and affirming space, we want every LGBTQ+ person we work with and care about to know they are valued, celebrated, and never alone.”

Tyler Pate: Pride

Tyler’s continuous heart pattern design symbolizes unity and the strength of community. The use of vibrant colors represents Pride in all its forms, and the repeating connection between the hearts speaks to our collective strength when we come together. This design is a reminder that everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and loved.

“The hearts are formed from a single, unbroken line—a reminder that while our paths may be different, we are all connected,”

At Dribbble, we’re proud to stand alongside the LGBTQIA+ community, not just this month, but every day. These designs are just a few examples of how creativity can amplify the messages of love, inclusion, and support that Pride represents. Let’s continue to celebrate, support, and stand together, creating a world where everyone can be proud of who they are. Happy Pride! 🏳️‍🌈
