Team Dribbble is big on outdoor recreation. Between founder Dan’s kayaking and Community Lead Alison’s recent fall for fly-fishing, it’s been a watery summer.
As for myself, I’ve finally been fulfilling one of my major bucket-list items of learning to surf. Yes, I live in Salt Lake City, Utah. No, I’m not surfing the Great Salt Lake. I’ve been making trips down to southern California to surf at iconic spots like San Onofre and Doheny (another perk of remote work!) I’m really excited that the next Hang Time is in LA, because I can make a little surf trip out of it, too.
Speaking of surf trips, if you’re reading this, it’s because I scheduled this article to publish today a couple weeks ago (whoa) and am currently on a long surf trip up from southern Orange County to Big Sur. Right this second, I’m probably walking the nose for my first time. Just kidding, I’m probably going over the falls for the twentieth time today.
There’s a lot of radical surf inspiration on Dribbble though and I’ve been loving it! There’s so much that I’ve had to divide it into sections. Enjoy Branding, illustration, and print work below.
