Weekly Replay is a place for us to share our news, large and small. Example: We’re pondering a few typefaces, and we’d like you to weigh in.
A place for us to remind you to read the blog. Example: Last week we huzzahed the happy crew at Ghostly Ferns, wowed at your ABCs, and learned about the joys and challenges of illustrating children’s books (Parts One and Two).
A place for us to share your news. Example: Spotify green is now more vibrant. The color shift is part of a bigger brand refresh Spotify introduced at SXSW.
But in far larger part, Replay is a place we come to strengthen and celebrate this community. The variety we find is one of the things that continually amazes us. Check it out below! You wrote scripts, landed pages, dwarved dragons, launched playoffs and websites, designed Queens, got inspired, mashed up, bounced onto Dribbble, and Snowed. And that was just last week!
You also do good. Not just good work, but work that makes the world better. On a bad news day, when we need some reaffirmation, we can plug “charity” or “philanthropy” or “donate” into the search box, and find it.
This week, that affirmation came from Seth Akkerman, raising money to fight cancer; Katie Evans, partnering with a company that donates a portion of all proceeds to fighting AIDS; and Sasha Lantukh, designing a site that will provide an “intelligent way for proactive philanthropists to support charities and projects of interest, and for charities to engage with donors.” Keep up the great good work!
