Jason Fitzgerald

I'm a freelance designer and marketing manager who loves obsessing over making pixel-perfect layouts, synchronizing music and visuals, and everything retro.

I have deep experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop. For my daily work, my app suite of choice is Affinity (Designer, Photo, Publisher, and now Affinity 3). I’m quite literally in these apps daily; I can’t say enough good things about Affinity! For motion design and editing, I use Final Cut Pro 11 and Motion, or LumaFusion for quick projects on-the-go.

I’m a self-taught 3D artist, working in Blender and Nomad Sculpt, with experience in ZBrush.

I sit on the board of directors for Apollo Friends in Sports, the Calgary-based organization that runs Western Cup, North America's longest-running queer multi-sport festival. A fair chunk of what is in this portfolio comes from my work here. I’m Apollo’s creative director and designer, and I lead marketing for the organization.
