Randy Gibson

Biography

I'm a graphic designer. I treat my craft like alchemy. I take ideas and make people care.

For the last few years I've been building brands, brand ecosystems, and identity systems at Big Duck, a worker-owned co-op working with nonprofits and small businesses doing real work in their communities.

Right now I'm working on a couple of side projects: a brand-intelligence audit tool, and Phemi, a news aggregator that learns what's worth your attention.

What I bring is taste, first. After that, trial-by-fire is where I do my best work. I learn fast, hold a lot of context at once, and don't break under pressure.

I'm looking for a team building something real and going in the right direction.
