Biography
Kailey Reid studied Studio Art and Graphic Design at James Madison University, then moved on to study Computer Animation Art and Design at Bournemouth University in Bournemouth, England. In 2017, Kailey held her first solo exhibition in Charlottesville. In 2018, her work was featured in another exhibition in Charlottesville, as well as one later that year in Sandusky, Ohio. In 2020 a few of her pieces were published in the Dark Sire Literary Journal.​ In 2023, three of her pieces were featured and sold out at The Rye Arts Center in Rye, NY for the gallery exhibition, "Artists of the Night." At the Rye Arts Center, her artwork was displayed alongside the great works of Charles Addams, creator of the Addams Family, Edward Gorey, and other incredible artists. In 2023, her artwork was featured once again with the illustrations of Charles Addams and Edward Gorey at The Gallery on Elm Street in Westfield, NJ. In January 2024, her work was again exhibited in Charlottesville at a show entitled, "Twisted in Time."
