zigzay

ZigZay is a collaborative project created in mid-2017 between two cities, Medellín (San Cristóbal) and Rionegro (El Porvenir). It focuses on visual narratives, comics, and character creation. From this great project, ZigZay - Studio (2023) was recently created, founded by Zay Cardona (graphic designer) and Jhonatan Correa (Bachelor of Visual Arts Education) in an apartment and a not-so-distant town from Medellín, where it's very hot: Santa Fe de Antioquia.

ZigZay is a collective platform for character creation, where various disciplines interact closely, such as literature, design, graphic arts, and communications. This space aims to create stories and narratives in our own way and serves as a place for the exchange of knowledge about the graphic world. Over time, it has become more complex and has created a series of characters that speak about our life, our relationships, our dreams, and desires.

We have brought our designs to t-shirts, merchandise, coffee packaging, murals, notebooks, and other formats.
