Dribbble has been supporting the design industry for the last 9 years. A lot has changed in that time, but one thing has remained the same: the Shot.
Our mission is to build the world’s best platform for designers and creative professionals. And that means helping you show off all of your work—no matter the size.
Today we’re excited to announce a larger upload limit and a brand new shot layout that puts your work front and center.
Pixel Perfect, just how you like it
When we asked you what we could do to make showcasing your work a better experience, one of the most popular responses was “Give us larger, high definition shots.”
And we heard you.
Because screen sizes have expanded, so have the pixels that you work in every day. To truly appreciate the nuance and detail that you pour into your work, you deserve more pixels in each shot you post to Dribbble.
We have now increased the shot upload limit to 10MB and loosened pixel size restrictions so you can share your work in beautiful high resolution.
Drag, drop, and crop
Starting today, you no longer have to prep specific file sizes for your Dribbble shot. When you upload you can now use our new cropper tool. Simply drag-and-drop your high-resolution image and crop it with a new zoom-based UI complete with a grid overlay.
We’ll even save the maximum number of pixels for you, automatically.
Now everytime you upload to Dribbble, grab any size image you want and we’ll help you create the perfect shot.
We’re not stopping here
We’re adding more ways for you to upload your work while staying true to the simplicity that brought you to Dribbble in the first place.
Keep your eyes peeled because in the next few months we’re working on even larger shot layouts and video (that’s right, you heard it here first!) as well as more exciting improvements to shots, projects, buckets and more!
Go forth and Pixel
Now it’s your turn to share if you’re a player on Dribbble, head over to your brand new shot upload page and try out the new image cropper and enjoy bigger, more beautiful Dribbble shots.
