You came, you fought, and one of you won! A big wooo-hooo! to Aaron Tenbuuren, who won Creative Market’s Fight Procrastination Day Playoff with his Ukulele shot, below center. Aaron is a designer at Intrepid and a lecturer at Northeastern University. He wanted to learn the ukulele, but kept putting if off … until this contest. He bought a ukulele, learned a few chords, and designed what turned out to be a winning shot. Congrats Aaron!
Congratulations also due to the two runners-up, Jessica Johnson (shot above left) and Rogie King (shot above right). Jessica, a designer from Miami Beach, pushed the playoff boundaries to the limit, entering the very last day with a shot of her shop “Creators Couture.” Montana-based designer Rogie finally “bit the bullet and learned how to motion blur (stars), stroke animate and transform in After Effects.”
And really, everyone’s a winner! Not just because your mom thinks so, but because Creative Market is giving everyone a free packet of goods. To check out a few more of Creative Market’s playoff favorites, visit their blog.
As for those of you in Creative Market’s neck of the woods, we can’t wait to see you at the meetup next month. Registration is full, but if you’d like to follow along, check out the #C2CMeetup hashtag on Twitter and Instagram during the event.
