Micro-interactions for the Home page of the Opkleure.nl concept app.

I decided to redesign the home page of the app by using the new style I made for the Explore page. I really like the clean and minimal look it has.

The initial version I made felt very cluttered with information and images which made it difficult to pay attention to any option that was presented on screen. While this might work for apps like Netflix, it didn't look that great for images that all have a white background.

I tried to design several micro-interactions that fit with this minimal approach. I also tried to use these micro-interactions for suggesting some hierarchy. Swiping left and right is for categories while scrolling up and down is for images in a category.

I really like how this turned out. More to come from this project soon!
