Desert City Icon Animation

Hi Dribbble!

This is my submission for DailyUI 005 -- an app icon. I experimented with a very minimal design this time, opting to use only rectangles and circles. I knew I wanted to use a part as well as warm colors for this one, so I opted for a Wild West-y look. I tried to choose colors that were warm yet conformed to this look and also gave the viewer some ideas about what they were seeing.

The animation was a nice touch I added at the end. With changing software patterns, it is already/will soon be possible on most phones to have changing icons or animated icons, and I think this would look good as an autoplay animation on first load. This will open up a new realm of possibility for homescreen design and I'm looking forward to playing around with it some more in the future!
