Credit Card Entry Form

I could honestly write a whole case study about how we dismantled the complexity in this part of the booking engine form (which I will in another shot) One golden rule we had to keep in mind was that if we asked for more information than necessary, than there would probably be lower completion rates and higher drop offs.

We asked the client and all the different stakeholders involved what data they needed to make sure that a transaction is made. Naturally we had some arguments as to what was really necessary versus what was just being collected for the sake of abundance in data.

Honestly I hope one day, credit card forms become a thing of the past and the web begins to adopt the same simplicity and clarity as Apple Pay. Maybe webcams scanning the back of your credit card for quicker input? That could potentially be a security headache though with so many cases of webcam hacks.
