Flinto App Icons
Really excited to say that we created the app icons for the newly released Flinto for Mac (and iOS)!
With these icons, we had some specific goals in mind: They should match each other, the Mac icon should represent creation, and the iOS icon should represent viewing. We realized while a designer might use both apps, the iOS app would be used by others as well: engineers, executives, clients, etc. It needed to be a little more ambiguous and less technical. The Mac icon indeed is more complex, literally linking two boards to each other, while the iOS is slightly more artistic, leaving it to interpretation for the viewer.
In this, we created these two icons that we think work really well on each platform and with each other.
