Hans Ulrich Obrist Interviews

A handmade book for a university brief involving the interviews of Swiss art curator and historian Hans Ulrich Obrist. The text features transcripts of a selected thirteen of his conversations with subjects as varied as German author Alexander Kluge to Icelandic pop star Björk.

- The front cover is a laser-cut acrylic model sheet which can actually be assembled into a small diorama of an interview table.

- Each of the book's signatures features its own typesetting and paper stock to represent the uniqueness of each conversation.

- The pages are hand bound by kettle stitch and covered in a plastic wrap which both protects the cover and showcases the hand-stitched spine.

(Images in order: front cover, acrylic model, index spread, signatures, back cover, spine, cover development)
