Mobile App Design QA for B2B SaaS
Your team has approved a mobile workflow and developers have built it. Now the product needs a careful check on a real device: can people follow the intended task, do the screens show the agreed states, and does the app confirm what happened after an action?
UITOP reviews one implemented B2B mobile journey against your approved designs and product rules. We document differences that affect the task, show where they occur and walk through the findings with your product and engineering team. The review can take place in a test build or an accessible staging environment.
When This Service Fits
A redesigned flow has been coded and needs product-design review before release.
Screens match the main mockups, but validation, loading or failed actions were not checked together.
A user taps Save and the app gives little indication of what the system recorded.
Shared components look or behave differently across steps of the same task.
The team needs a clear issue list that developers can reproduce and product owners can prioritize.
What Your Team Receives
A walkthrough of the selected journey in the provided build with representative roles and data.
Comparison against approved screens, prototype behavior and documented product rules.
Annotated findings with the affected step, observed behavior, expected behavior and reproduction details.
A prioritized issue list distinguishing task blockers, misleading states and smaller UI inconsistencies.
Open product questions when the reference does not define the expected behavior.
A review with your designer, product owner and developers to agree what should be fixed or specified.
A written record your team can use for a subsequent fix and verification pass.
We agree the build, platforms, roles, journey and reachable states before review. This first phase reports Design QA findings. Implementing fixes, exhaustive device testing, security review and release approval require separate scope.
Check the Task as a User Encounters It
We begin with the goal and the data needed to complete it. We move through the build in the order the user acts, including a relevant return path or interrupted step where the environment supports it. A screen can resemble its design while the next action, status or navigation still behaves differently.
We record the device, build and account used for each finding. Screenshots or short recordings show what we observed. The reference design and your product rules establish what was intended. When a design omits a state, we flag the decision your team needs to make before a developer can change it.
Inspect the States Between Screens
The review checks the agreed loading, empty, validation, permission, error and confirmation cases that we can reach in the supplied environment. We look at labels, visible options and feedback after a tap. For data-changing actions, the product team or engineer helps confirm whether the saved state comes from the device or the server.
An issue describes its effect on the selected task. A missing success message can leave a user unsure whether an update took effect; a wrong role action can expose a control that should not be offered. We separate observed build behavior from an assumption about the backend or user impact.
Give Developers a Usable Finding
Each finding points to a step and state, includes reproduction conditions and references the relevant design or rule. We note whether a component appears elsewhere, so the team can inspect related screens when it makes a shared change. Your engineers help establish technical dependencies and effort; the Design QA report focuses on the experience and its expected behavior.
We prioritize issues with your team using the affected user, task consequence and release context. If a newer build arrives during the agreed engagement, a focused recheck can be added to the scope. The report records which build we reviewed.
Use Your Existing Source of Truth
We can compare a working app with Figma files, an interactive prototype, a functional artifact in Claude or another agreed tool, and the written behavior your team maintains. We do not require the design to have originated in one tool. Your team provides access to the reference and a test build with representative records.
We can annotate issues in the environment your team uses and review them with the people implementing the changes. The comparison follows the approved scenario and product rules.
Relevant UITOP Work
UITOP redesigned Kenjo's mobile HR experience, including Overview, scheduling, Shift Details and reusable components. That case demonstrates our work defining mobile tasks and consistent interface patterns in an established SaaS product.
UITOP also developed Pacioli's React Native client app as part of a connected accounting platform. That project gives our team direct experience with working mobile code and business data. Their documented scopes are separate: Kenjo mobile design and Pacioli mobile development.
Show us the mobile flow your team recently implemented and the reference it was built from. We will check the agreed journey, record observable differences and identify the decisions your team needs before its next release.
