About this Service
Custom illustrated mascot, badge or emblem design for brands, events, teams, shops, apparel projects, creative studios and merchandise.
I create bold illustrated marks with strong character, expressive linework, vintage energy, pop culture influence, detailed graphic styling and a handcrafted visual personality. The objective is to create one memorable mascot, badge or emblem that feels distinctive, recognizable and suitable for print and digital use.
This service covers one detailed character-based or symbolic illustrated mark. It is not a general logo-design or complete brand-identity service and does not include wordmark-only, typography-only or minimalist corporate logo design.
THIS SERVICE INCLUDES:
one finished custom mascot, badge or illustrated emblem
one primary character, symbol or cohesive central composition
one focused creative direction developed from the approved brief
one preliminary composition sketch for approval
one consolidated round of revisions at the sketch stage
production of the final detailed vector artwork
one approved color palette
one full-color version
one black-and-white version
one consolidated round of minor refinements to the final artwork
one editable vector master file supplied in one agreed format: CDR, AI or EPS
print-ready vector PDF files
high-resolution transparent PNG exports
JPG preview files
one flattened presentation mockup
A client-supplied brand name and one short tagline may be integrated as secondary elements within the illustrated composition when agreed in the brief.
This service does not include the creation of a standalone wordmark, custom typeface, complete alphabet or typographic system.
The subject and level of complexity must be reviewed before work begins. Requests involving several characters, complex scenes, multiple symbols or extensive lettering may require a separate proposal.
CLIENT BRIEF REQUIRED:
Before work begins, the client must provide:
the exact brand, company, team or project name
the exact tagline, when applicable
a description of the business, activity or project
the target audience
the intended use of the final artwork
the desired mascot, character, symbol, badge or emblem subject
the required personality, attitude and overall mood
all mandatory objects, accessories, symbols or visual elements
anything that must not appear in the artwork
the exact wording to be included, fully checked and approved by the client
the preferred colors and any prohibited colors
relevant visual references
existing brand guidelines or supplied brand assets, when applicable
the required dimensions, format and orientation
the requested delivery date, subject to confirmation
The client is responsible for the accuracy of all supplied names, wording, dates and information.
Work begins only once the brief, scope, references and required assets have been reviewed and confirmed in writing. The two-week production schedule begins from that point.
CONCEPT AND APPROVAL:
This service includes one focused concept, one composition and one preliminary sketch only.
It does not include several alternative mascots, symbols, badges, emblems, creative directions or sketches from which to choose.
The preliminary composition must be approved before final production begins. Once approved, the concept, primary subject, pose, expression, composition, integrated wording and overall visual direction are considered locked.
One full-color treatment and its black-and-white adaptation are included. Alternative palettes or additional colorways are not included.
PROJECT MILESTONES:
The kickoff milestone covers review of the brief and references, development of the concept and delivery of the preliminary composition sketch.
The final-delivery milestone covers production and delivery of the approved final color and black-and-white artwork and the included files.
REVISIONS:
The first included revision round takes place at the preliminary sketch stage. It covers reasonable adjustments to:
the composition
the pose or expression of the primary character
the placement of the main illustrated elements
proportions
the positioning of the approved name or tagline
details already included in the original brief
The second included revision round takes place after production of the final artwork. It covers minor adjustments to:
details
linework
colors
contrast
balance
cropping
Revisions do not include:
a new concept or creative direction
a different mascot, character, symbol, badge or emblem
a substantially different pose or composition
adding characters, objects or major elements that were not included in the approved brief
replacing or substantially rewriting the approved brand name or tagline
creating an alternative palette or colorway
creating a standalone wordmark
creating a custom typeface or alphabet
creating a second logo, secondary mark or additional lockup
changing the artistic style
requesting a complete or substantial redraw
Any such request will be treated as additional work and quoted separately.
All feedback must be consolidated into one clear message by one designated decision-maker. Delayed feedback or changes to the original brief may affect the delivery date.
FINAL FILES:
The completed artwork will be supplied in both full-color and black-and-white versions.
The final files include one editable vector master file in the format agreed before work begins, print-ready vector PDFs, high-resolution transparent PNG exports and JPG previews.
The included versions use the same approved composition. The black-and-white version is an adaptation of the approved full-color artwork and not a separate concept.
One flattened presentation mockup is included for presentation purposes only. The editable mockup file is not included.
Unused concepts, preliminary sketches, working files, alternative versions and additional mockups are not included in the final deliverables.

The following are not included and require a separate proposal:
