Episode 20: Alice Lee

In episode 20, Dan chats with Alice Lee, an independent San Francisco-based illustrator and designer who loves drawing and telling clever stories. Before going independent, she was the second illustrator at Dropbox. Alice is now part of a studio of artists known as the 1099 Group.

Design systems make it easier to evaluate illustrations and measure how successful they are. By creating a system around it—a set of values that you're using as a benchmark—you can treat it as analytically as you as you would any other product.
