The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Product Designer who excels at enhancing user experiences, producing innovative product designs, and executing a successful product from start to finish. You will be creative with superb problem-solving skills to build products that create user experiences that are carefully designed, intuitive, and solve a defined problem.

You will work collaboratively with our Creative Director and talented product and IT engineering teams to develop superior digital products that truly focus on strengthening our UX and UI game!

What You’ll Do:

  • Translate concepts into user journeys, wireframes, mockups, user stories, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Apply design thinking, user research, competitive analysis, and user personas to understand customer obstacles and envision product opportunities.
  • Focus on a user-centered design approach to rapidly test designs.
  • Collaborate with the Product Managers to determine core metrics and measure the impact on user experiences.
  • Plan and lead design sprints for new product features.
  • Incorporate user feedback throughout all phases of design by planning and conducting research, interviews and user testing, as well as amending designs following feedback.
  • Prepare and organize documentation for design hand-off to IT Engineering team (including mockups, prototypes, exporting UI assets).
  • Plan and conduct A/B tests and product experiments.
  • Assist the UX and Design teams on developing and coordinating the long-term UX strategy and design direction.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience working in a product design or user experience design role.
  • Senior level experience in multiple core design skills from prototyping to final design and everything in between.
  • Experience with user research and user interface design.
  • Experience designing responsive web and native mobile software applications.
  • Proficient and effective use of industry standard UX and UI design platforms.
  • Comfortable working in a self guided manner. You're able to proactively plan and scope your work in order to sequence your work with your team.
  • Skilled at designing end-to-end solutions from discovery, rapid prototyping, usability testing, UI and interaction design.
  • Ability to adapt to and learn design and prototyping software such as Figma.
  • Experience working with front-end developers and an understanding of coding languages (HTML, CSS, Javascript/JQuery).
  • Understanding of SEO principles.
