Senior Mobile App Interaction Designer

We're looking for an experienced interaction designer to help our small team scale as we rise to the challenge to help fight COVID-19. We’re a Seattle-based non-profit organization, looking for contract design help targeting 20 hours per week. You will partner with our design, PM, and engineering team to deliver smartphone and web experiences to aid in administration and interpretation of rapid diagnostic tests. Our customers include clinicians, nurses, doctors, and patients with varying skill levels. Our team is composed of passionate technologists bringing their experience building enterprise and consumer software to move the needle in global health as they contribute to eradicating endemic diseases and regain progress lost with the spread of COVID-19. The ideal candidate will have :
- 5+ years of interaction and visual design experience with consumer mobile applications, including familiarity with native design and interaction patterns for Android and Apple
- Proficiency in using Figma to design flows and experiences, reusable design templates, and prototypes
- Portfolio of interaction and visual design work
- Experience communicating with cross-functional teams and turning concepts, ideas, and user problems into elegant and simple design flows
