Marketing Designer (Contract)
Particle is hiring a contract to full-time Marketing Designer to expand our design experience and support overall brand. We are looking for creative designers who are skilled at boiling complex concepts down to elegant, understandable experiences.
You’ll work with our Senior Director of Marketing and Design Lead to support on critical design initiatives from conference booth and event experiences seen by thousands to digital advertising campaigns to key elements of our website.

Responsibilities
- Design visual and interactive digital assets, including: email, display ads, web pages, infographics, and videos
- Design print assets including conference experiences, print collateral, and branded swag for internal and external purposes
- Support the branding and execution of design for key Particle brand experiences including the main website, retail store, and annual user conference
- Be a brand ambassador, helping cross functional teams understand how the visual system delivers on our brand promise.
- Use digital metrics (e.g. site traffic, visitor paths, conversion rates) to optimize conversions and improve web UI.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of web, product-, or service-related experience in high-volume, high-profile, or award-winning experiences.
- Deep knowledge of design principles and methods, innovation, and ideation tools.
- Rock-solid design craft and a strong point of view, and can back up your designs with solid rationale.
- Exceptional creative skills across web, mobile, and print.
- Expert level in your favorite design tools (Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Invision).
- A strong online portfolio to prove it all.
Preferred
- SaaS experience or B2B experience is a plus.
- Background in technology and platform solutions such as application development, database, business intelligence, integration.
- Experience working at a high-growth stage start up.
