Product Designer

Dynamic Signal is looking for a Product Designer to join the Product team.

You bring a keen sense of product, an eye for detail, a high bar for quality, and a passion for designing simple yet elegant product experiences. You have a stellar portfolio that demonstrates solid design chops, and you have experience designing for both web and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

• Translate business & user needs into effective product direction
• Communicate ideas using appropriate level of detail—know when to use frameworks, system diagrams, sketches, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
• Contribute to end-to-end product design process—not only successes, but failures, learning and ongoing product improvements
• Support user research that informs product direction
• Contribute to our cross-platform design system
• Build successful relationships with other talented team members across design, engineering, product management, product marketing, etc
• Proactively share work and feedback across the team
• Use qualitative and quantitative inputs to understand what our customers need, and build accordingly

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years professional design experience
• A portfolio demonstrating solid design chops
• User-centered—you’re comfortable thinking beyond pixels on the screen, to value for the user
• T-shaped skillset—you’re comfortable contributing across the full-stack design process, with experience in at least one of: design strategy, research & discovery, concept generation and validation, prototyping and interaction design, and pixel-level visual / UI design
• Team mindset—you are open to giving and receiving feedback from peers, and can balance multiple inputs to build effective design direction
• Curious problem-solver—you do the work to deeply understand customer wants vs needs, and push beyond the obvious to create deeply resonant and meaningful solutions
• Strong, structured communicator—across verbal, written, and visual communication
• Proactive doer—you know that inertia is the enemy, and you seek feedback that unblocks creativity, reduces blindspots, and keeps work moving in the right direction
• Growth mindset—you seek out ways to constantly evolve and grow, whether in your work, your career, or the products you build
