UI / UX Designer for a Fintech

Location: Remote

Type: Contract (with potential for full-time hire)

Overview

We're looking for a talented UI/UX Designer. As we continue to grow, we need someone who can create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces, enhancing the user experience of our products.

We're a business procurement and spend automation platform that works with a range of businesses, from health, not-for-profit, and hospitality to manufacturing, wholesale, and many more.

Our clients use Zudello to drive compliance and savings over their processes through real-time budgeting and contract enforcement while also eliminating manual work for finance teams.

Position Overview: As a UI/UX Designer, you'll have a key role in improving how our users interact with our products. You'll work closely with various team members to develop and refine features that meet the needs of our users and our business goals. This position is contract-based to start, with the opportunity to become a full-time role depending on your performance and how well you fit with our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and user needs.

  • Research our company and competitors.

  • Translate concepts and ideas into high-quality user interfaces and interactive prototypes.

  • Create wireframes, user flows, and mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.

  • Maintain and evolve design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across the product.

  • Work closely with the development team to ensure successful implementation of designs.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product design.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a UI/UX designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working on mobile app design.

  • Experience working in Fintech or related industries

  • Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
