Sr. UX/UI Designer

Aedee is seeking a passionate and motivated UX/UI designer, to join our growing in-house design team.

We’re looking for a candidate with a strong background in UX/UI design who holds all the attributes of being a proactive, adaptable and creative individual that can help us build and deliver best-in-class solutions.

Our team is small, which requires a great deal of communication and responsibility. One thing we can tell you - you won’t be bored, and a positive attitude is essential. We are fully remote and use Skype and occasional Google Meets to communicate, work, support, and joke. You’ll be working on incredibly exciting projects involving our entire suite of products and will be an integral part of our team.

Essential job functions:

- Collaborate with teams on scenarios, prototypes, and other artefacts to align on solutions.

- Define visual and product elements and overall design.

- Create and implement interaction models and UI specifications.

- Evaluate and set best practices and standards.

- Share artefacts and incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders.

- Support associate product designers and development teams.

- Monitor user engagement and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Champion company standards and best practices.

- Embrace an Agile environment and act as an advocate for customers.

- Apply standards from design systems and/or brand guidelines.

- Travel to local campuses and attend company meetings.

Minimum position qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in Digital/UI Design or related fields.

- Good experience in an Agile software environment.

- Proficient in design and authoring tools such as Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Invision.

- In-depth understanding of UI and knowledge of the latest design trends.

- Ability to think creatively with attention to detail.

- Portfolio demonstrating previous experience in UI and problem-solving approaches.

- Ability to make deliberate, customer-driven design decisions.
