Kinesis is poised to become a world leader in digital precious metals.

We are seeking a talented Web Designer who has experience working on UX / UI for responsive websites, emailers and landing pages. We would like the candidate to take a strategic and innovative approach to design and maintain our websites.

The Role

Reporting to the Design Director, you will be responsible for working across all UX / UI processes and design for all Kinesis websites, emailers and general marketing collateral and advertising campaigns. The role is fully remote.

The Candidate

The right candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in Web Design and UX / UI, backed up by a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills and ability to design up the latest modern trends of high end user interfaces, whilst maintaining brand and design consistency.

Key responsibilities

As a member of the design team your primary responsibilities will include the following:

Strategic and innovative approach to designing and maintaining our websites
Responsive Web Design and UX / UI for Kinesis website pages and sections, emailers, landing pages and advertising campaigns
Redesigning and branding website templates for new sites or online stores
Wireframing and prototype setup and presenting designs and solutions
Maintaining websites with new improvements
Designing new web components professionally structured within a design system
QA development work
Research, concepts and ideas for future websites and web page solutions
Maintaining brand consistency across all websites and marketing material
Natural flair for typography, colour and layout
Creating iconography and graphics
Ability to proactively manage multiple projects in fast paced environment
Strong communication and organisational skills and collaborating with global tech teams ensuring design is reflected in development and efficient delivery of projects
High standard of design and strong attention to detail
Up to date and interested in the latest industry design trends

Mandatory experience

5+ years experience
Highly proficient in Sketch and Figma building responsive library components and auto-layout features within Figma
Prototyping in Figma, Sketch and InVision
An excellent, diverse portfolio of work with smart responsive web design
Key understanding of design systems, UX / UI
Understanding of HTML and CSS for delivering design to development

Nice to have

Interaction design and CSS / SVG animation or motion graphics
Illustration and infographics design skills
Designing, animating and developing rich media banners
Motion Graphics / After Effects / 3D modelling and rendering
Other UX / UI software knowledge such as Webflow, Adobe XD, Marvel and Zeplin
Experience in exchanges and trading interfaces and payments interfaces
Key understanding of the payments and fintech space
Blockchain or cryptocurrency knowledge
