Senior Graphic Designer

As a Senior Graphic Designer at Stream, you’ll be an integral part of the Creative and Marketing teams, as you seek to solve problems and further business initiatives in a creative and strategic way, bringing design-thinking to every project. In this role, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of the creative process for design projects including responsive web design, print layout, presentations, web graphics, video graphics, illustrations, emails, brand development, UI/UX, and more. You’ll be joining a team of creatives, designers, video producers, writers, and marketing communicators who love what they do and continually strive to better their craft and further Stream’s business initiatives each day. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to all kinds of digital and print projects including websites, apps, branding, promotions, presentations, emails, signage, marketing collateral and more.
  • Drive results by bringing design-thinking, business strategy and creativity to every project.
  • Clearly communicate with internal clients from other departments and guide them through the design process.
  • Independently create designs and implement creative solutions to client objectives.
  • Present ideas, mockups, and design comps in meetings with small groups.
  • Contribute to projects managed by other graphic designers and manage your own projects.
  • Follow creative direction.
  • Contribute to and maintain brand standards.
  • Create developer-ready digital files and/or production-ready print files.
  • Know and implement best practices and maintain good file organization.
  • Design beautiful, user-centric, responsive websites, web pages and mobile user interfaces.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of professional graphic design experience
  • BA or BFA or higher in graphic design or a related discipline; alternatively, four years’ additional experience in agency or in-house marketing or creative services department
  • Expert proficiency with the latest versions of Adobe products, especially Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

Our top candidates will also have…

  • 1-3 years of UI/UX design experience
  • Proficiency in Sketch or InVision Studio
  • Experience with network marketing and/or retail energy
  • Familiarity with web development and/or online marketing disciplines a plus
  • Clear, concise oral and written communication
  • Strong icon or illustration skills
  • Experience with tech startups, lifestyle brands, network marketing or retail energy
  • Ability to operate effectively within Apple‘s OS.

Working Conditions

Occasionally you may be asked to work flexible hours (i.e. staff an event, work late to finish a project); overtime and weekends may be required.
