We’re looking for a User Interface Designer who has exceptional programming skills, experience building responsive front-end applications, and experience connecting those applications to the back end. We’re seeking a mission-driven individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is always striving to innovate for the purpose of an incredible user experience.
Responsibilities
- Design inspiring, efficient, responsive/adaptive front-end web applications
- Partner with engineers, product designers, and product managers to design and develop new features in-browser
- Design and implement improvements to the BentoBox platform, improving appeal and usability
- Prioritize design projects in a fast-paced environment and consistently deliver simple solutions
- Design prototypes in HTML/CSS/JS to establish platform UX and validate ideas
- Enhance platform usability through cross-browser and cross-device design iteration and compatibility
- Uphold BentoBox’s core mission, vision, and values
Skills and Attributes
- 5 years of experience with web/mobile design and development with a focus on prototyping, UI/UX design, and/or interaction design
- Experience designing and supporting actual web applications that have seen production usage with a large user base
- Ability to develop a website from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Body of design work demonstrating a keen eye for user experience
