Cannabis Graphic Designer
Better Than Good is looking for a talented and creative designer to work with our multi-disciplinary team in order to evolve our brands. In this role you will develop collateral, including websites, merchandise, product packaging, print collateral, event collateral, social media posts, and more. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, be extremely detail oriented, have a passion for packaging design, and be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. You must have a strong desire to work in a fast-paced, flexible, and team-oriented environment. This is an onsite position, based in San Diego, CA with Monday through Friday office hours of 8am to 4pm.
Experience and Skills:
- Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Thriving in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects at once with high accuracy
- Exceptional communication skills; ability to speak fluently and clearly explain design decisions to business partners, product designers, and print venders
- The ability to think critically in order to solve problems
- Pre-press and or press experience is a plus
- Strong layout and production skills
- Strong visual design skills and high level of taste and aesthetic sense
- A critical eye and an obsessive attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload and meet project timelines and deliverable dates
- Experience working with creative team; the ability to take and give direction and feedback to achieve desired outcomes and a consistent visual language
- Passion for marketing, photography, and social media is a plus
