Senior Product Designer

Kiyanpay is an exciting, fast-growing Fintech start-up based in London. Our mission is to help our customers improve the way they manage their finances and empower them to connect and send money easily and at great rates to anywhere in the world.

We offer maximum functionality and enhanced user experience in comparison to those provided by market competitors. Amongst many exciting features, Kiyanpay's mobile and web application will provide multiple-currency accounts, physical debit cards and advanced money transfer solutions within an innovative mobile and web interface.

We are looking for a creative individual with a strong background in UI/UX design, and a wide range of graphic design skillset to help Kiyanpay's Marketing team in the initial stages of it's growth. Your overall goal will be to create beautiful, intelligent, and modern solutions for Kiyanpay's client base.

Candidates should enjoy working in a start-up, generating their own ideas, and be excited about taking ownership and pride in their work. We are a small, but growing team, and this is an opportunity to join at the beginning of an exciting journey and meaningfully define Kiyanpay's future and direction. You will be joining a team of young, enthusiastic individuals with exciting goals and ambitions.

Responsibilities:

  • Incrementally building the user experience at various stages of the design process with requirements, wireframes, flow diagrams, mockups, and/or high fidelity prototypes, validating deliverables with stakeholders regularly with a continuous feedback loop
  • Implementing user-centred best practices, design processes and systems
  • Being the voice and advocate of the customer, constantly up to date with the latest trends and design thinking
  • Using both quantitative and qualitative research methods to inform and validate your design decisions
  • Tracking user experience metrics, reporting on the success of UX enhancements, A-B testing, implementing data-driven new improvements
  • Help marketing team with day-to-day graphic design needs and branding decision

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • +3 years experience in UX/UI design. UX experience is a must, a candidate from a pure UI background will find this role challenging
  • Strong conceptual thinker with excellent communication skills
  • Passionate about understanding the users’ needs, motivations and behaviours and ability to translate them into actionable deliverables
  • Fluency in design tools (Adobe Suite, Sketch, Figma, Invision)
  • Experience in marketing and branding is an advantage
  • A portfolio of mobile commerce experiences is a plus

We are looking for an immediate start. We don't offer remote working so please bear in mind that you will have to live or be able to relocate to London.
