Motion Designer

Job Description: As a Motion Designer at 20nine you will translate upfront strategy, value pillars, Purpose First Platforms, and identity systems into video concepts, edited content, animated identity elements, and animated explainers. The Motion Designer is responsible for participating in concept development but has a love to bring the visual story to life in moving images.

Responsibility & Expectations:

• Understand and work with a standard for excellence

• You are skilled in animation and video/audio editing software, fluidly moving between toolsets in order to focus on ideas and concepts that successfully enhance the brand message.

• In-depth knowledge and experience animating in Adobe After Effects

• Editing videos in Premiere

• Designing vector-based assets in Illustrator

Understand the video production pipeline

• Proactively engage in research and develop original concepts

• Relentlessly pursue ideas and execute designs with an awareness of basic industry and motion design standards

• Actively practice verbal and visual presentation of work, understanding audience and required feedback

• Embrace and pursue feedback from senior creatives

• Be organized, know your workload, and maintain communication with PM and Creative Director of Video

• Embrace collaboration with creative and strategy teams

• Seek feedback beyond immediate tasks and engage with team members on advice

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Demonstrate functional knowledge of Adobe applications (AE, PS, AI), 3D experience a plus

• Be enthusiastic, open, and eager to learn and grow

• Excellent time management skills and ability to forward plan

• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment

• 1-4 years of motion experience
