We are looking for a passionate product design lead to help us continue to push the boundaries of customer friendliness in travel. You will help leading and defining the product experience across all our surfaces, partnering with product managers, business leaders and engineering to make sure we continue to follow our vision and innovate by solving tomorrow's problems today.
A design lead is a creative individual that thinks big and is visionary, but at the same time translates that into short term deliverables. You will not only help lifting the HolidayCheck experience but inspire and elevate the team by producing work that is always raising the bar and taking an user experience first approach to solving problems. Your work will allow our customers to feel delighted every time they use our product.
Your Responsibilities
- Technically leading and empowering the design team. By coaching and mentoring, you help to grow individuals into top design talents
- Design simple, clear, consistent, data-driven, user-centric experiences that delight travelers
- Defining the user experience with a frictionless flow, consistent look and feel and delightful user interface through user flows, information architecture, sketches and wireframes, as well as visual design
- Help shaping the product strategy and vision
- Rapidly building simple and functional prototypes to validate and test your ideas
- Participating in user research and testing
- Looking for opportunities to solve complex problems in simple and innovative ways
- Help maintaining visual consistency between all products and drive the design system
- Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business goals into unique product experiences
Your Profile
- 4+ years of experience in fast-paced creative environments
- You have experience in leading and mentoring a team of gifted creatives
- You develop concepts that delight customers and deliver business results
- You possess not only exceptional product design skills, but the ability to implement strategic and conceptual thinking as well
- Your compelling portfolio of work demonstrates high-quality design work and also tells a story that you are a deep design thinker
- You have experience with Figma and other Design Tools
