Jaydeep designed the app icon for my Android app, and he delivered it as a complete icon system following technical specifications (SVG, strict monochrome for themed icons, Android adaptive layers, plus variants).
The final vector work is excellent — clean shapes, great character, and it stays perfectly readable even at 32px, which was my main requirement.
The process was genuinely iterative: we went through several sketch rounds before landing the concept, and the result came out stronger for it. He ran size-readability tests on his own initiative, gave honest expert recommendations when I asked him to choose between directions (backed with evidence, not just opinion), delivered everything agreed including source files with editable, well-organized paths, and was clear and generous with commercial rights.
One tip for future clients: communication works best when your feedback is specific and visual — numbered lists, reference images, even rough scribbles. Give him that, and he delivers exactly what you asked for. Fair pricing, milestone-based payment, met his deadlines once set. I'd work with him again for character/icon work.
