Hamid Taherypour

Hamid Taherypour (born 1967) is an Iranian entrepreneur, owner of Oxin Holding, and a visual artist. He holds a PhD in psychology from Goethe University Frankfurt, a background that deeply influences his perspective on human behavior and space.

His career began in carpet design, which shaped his visual language and led him into the carpet industry. He later expanded his business into insurance, construction, and hospitality in Germany.

Since 2020, Taherypour has focused intensely on visual arts, creating over 100 sculptural works using bronze, wood, and papier-mâché. Combining the structural discipline of carpet design with psychological depth, his artwork has been exhibited internationally in cities including Tehran, Dubai, Muscat, Istanbul, and Madrid.
