Logo for preschool

We need a logo for a new preschool for kids 3-5 based in Utah named Royal Academy. We are trying to have a more modern/clean look. Not too kiddish (the typical preschool logo design) but also not too ornate or serious. We would like to have a smart logo, maybe even with hidden meaning behind. Some of the icons we are leaning towards are crowns, castles, shields/crests, but we are open to other options.
