Emtype Foundry

Type foundry located in Barcelona founded and run by Eduardo Manso — AGI member since 2010.

Eduardo Manso is a type designer based in Barcelona. Before establishing his own foundry, he published numerous fonts through T-26, ITC Fonts, Bitstream, and Linotype. He has designed custom typefaces for clients worldwide, including General Motors, ESPN, Puma, The Sunday Times of London, the Munich Airport, or the Gaudí house 'La Pedrera' in Barcelona. Among other awards, he has received the 'Certificate of Excellence in Type Design' from the Type Directors Club of New York three times. He currently teaches typography classes at several schools in Barcelona and actively designs new typefaces. He has been a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) since 2010.
