Edgardo Avilés-López

I’m a Mexican engineer, technologist, and artist currently living and working in New York City. I utilize technology as an amplifier of curiosity, opportunity, and happiness. I seek to improve the quality of life for all through art with the notion that optimism and hope are the best ways to combat present-day injustice, despair, and trouble. Through a combination of photography, drawing, prototyping, and creative coding I hope to share my knowledge and passion for learning with the next generation of technologists and artists. My goal is to explore how to adopt the concepts and principles of technology and coding as a tool in seemingly unrelated disciplines, such as art and societal problems.
