Areous A. Ahmad is a multi-award winning designer with a passion for creating user-centered, accessible, and innovative digital experiences. He has a keen eye for simplifying complexity and a deep understanding of the principles of design, which allows him to create products that are both functional and solve real user problems.
With expertise in open-source design and community building, Areous founded Open Designers (2,000+ designers, 40,000+ resource users) and organizes DevFest Ilorin, one of Nigeria's largest tech conferences. He has been recognized with the GDG Community Impact Award and Community Hero Award. His TEDx talk "The Future is Designed by Those Who Share" explores how open-source approaches democratize design access globally.
