Sho Uehara

I am a cartoonist and freelance illustrator born in Calgary AB, Canada. I am a mixed race Asian Canadian. Half-Okinawan, half-Filipino Canadian.
I'm the author of independent comic book REPOSE, and short story GRIM for The "Wishless" Anthology. I've done illustrative work for BOOM! Studios, Swerve Magazine and Inhabit Media Press, Renegade Arts Entertainment & Annick Press.
I pretty much live in sketchbooks. Writing, thumb-nailing, planning and searching for the next story to self-publish. To keep the skills sharp and reach far I take on freelance illustrative gigs that fulfill my passions in making books. I love books, especially comic books and I hope to make as much as I can.
