I cannot describe how fortunate I was to stumble upon Mihai. I hired him for a logo + brand identity project and he absolutely nailed it. He went beyond my expectations and delivered something better than I ever imagined.
He didn’t have a package that matched the exact combination of deliverables I needed, but after asking, he was more than happy to create a custom option. He walked me through his design process and even offered a discovery call before we started to make sure we were aligned. We also did update/feedback calls throughout, which made the process feel a lot more personal. It allowed me to have meaningful input and really clarify my vision and the direction of my brand.
The process included a brand mindmap, moodboard, logo idea sketches, multiple logo concepts, refinements based on my chosen direction, and a set of brand guidelines. Throughout it all, Mihai was incredibly receptive to feedback while also explaining when certain changes might reduce visual impact. This is something I really appreciated. He always offered to explore my ideas anyway, but backed his recommendations with clear reasoning. I’m more of a visual person, and he picked up on that quickly. He would often show fast sketches or live adjustments so I could see the difference, which helped a lot.
Communication with Mihai was excellent. He has friendly energy, responds quickly, and always made himself available when needed. Whenever he shared updates, he would also explain the why behind his choices. Every direction, detail, and refinement came with a clear explanation of his thought process, which made the whole experience feel intentional and collaborative.
I especially want to highlight how much effort he put into understanding my brand. It wasn’t just about designing something that looked nice. He took time to truly understand the mission, audience, personality, and long-term goals behind the brand. That depth of understanding made every design decision feel aligned, meaningful, and directionally correct. It’s a huge part of why the final identity feels so “right” for my brand.
I LOVE how the final logo turned out. At the start of the project, I didn’t even think a wordmark would be possible. I making my own variations before but couldn't get anything that would work. Mihai proved me wrong with a brilliant idea. Using the end curve of the "w” as a flag pole to create a meaningful symbol. The typography is completely custom and unique, and the entire identity feels both timeless and modern at the same time. It captures my brand perfectly.
If you’re considering working with Mihai, do it. The quality, communication, creativity, and professionalism are on another level. It was easily one of the best creative collaborations I’ve ever had, and I would 100% hire him again for any future projects that come up.
