Hannamari Kovanen

My name is Hannamari. I am trained in graphic design but I increasingly work with illustration and art. In my career I’ve worked with leading Finnish design companies creating brand materials for them and have also developed an artistic voice of my own. I want keep creating a unique visual language and to tell short stories through my illustrative art.

My work focuses on lifestyle and feeling better about oneself. It is colorful and depicts characters in ambiguous situations. I'm inspired by fun fashion, the nostalgia of the 80's and the 90's, mystical items and strange humor.

I’m open-minded and full of thoughts about visual culture, design, art, science, life and experiences. I want to work with people who share my strong sense of justice and work to make this world a better place.
