Lady Snail

I want to introduce you to "Ladysnail"! Who is she?! Well… this is a story about a very talented writer and a lonely one, which used to feel quite uncomfortable in a company of people. What’s interesting, she had an extremely special connection with snails. That’s right, with snails! The lady was even raising them in her own home! Once she has attended a cocktail party, carrying a purse full of her little friends. There were about 100 of them in it!!!
And no, I haven’t made up this #weird story. The lady was real. It is possible that some of you might have heard about her, read her #books or even saw the movie created by Alfred Hitchcock, based on her novel “Strangers on a Train”. Have you? If the answer is YES, you already know I am talking about Patricia Highsmith. And this #illustration represents how I imagine Patricia's moment from the party. If your answer was NO, maybe that’s an idea for an interesting weekend? 😉
