Squiz Funnelback Search integration for William Hill

I led the UX, UI, & design direction for a project we worked on for our client William Hill.
The idea was to utilise one of our MVP products 'Funnelback', to offer Will Hill users a rich quality of content within the search process.

Within a global project team, we targeted particular areas that would dramatically improve the search experience, and effectively land the user to their destination quicker, essentially leading to greater ease of betting.

Smart Search Concierge - Upon selecting the search icon, a full module would consume 80% - 100% of the users viewport presenting them with a large search input module. As the user types in each letter, rich results are returned, including videos, related bets, related articles, and other areas of data that could be strung up using meta tagging.

Autocorrect - As you start typing, the concierge gets to work immediately. If you proceed to type in something that is mispelt, the concierge will recognise your mistake and offer you alternative options/corrections to ensure the user doesn't miss out if they are to input text wrong.

Our main focus was to demonstrate that their are key areas within the existing William Hill UI that we could speedily improve with our Funnelback Search Product, which would immediately improve and speed up the User Experience, thus potentially dramatically improving traffic and profit.
