My friend recently asked me to design a flyer for her cake company, and I was inspired to make a few screens of an app that her company could have!

To start off, I chose a pink and yellow color scheme. I wanted to create an eye-catching and energetic feel, similar to the vibe that my friend’s cakes give off. I used drips to represent frosting, and a simple cake icon for the logo.

Since this was my first design challenge, I didn’t really have a design process. I kind of went with the flow, adding and deleting elements where I thought necessary. However, I think that this was what caused my design to take so long. For the next design challenge, I plan on doing more brainstorming and wireframing!
