Singapore

Singapore (officially the Republic of Singapore) is a small island nation, situated in south east Asia. Co-ordinates are 1.3521° N, 103.8198° E. This country is just 137 kilometers away from equator. Singapore was founded in the year 1819 by Sir Stamford Raffles of British East India Company. Singapore is a developed nation with high GDP rate and education. Major part of this small country is populated with Chinese people (that is near about 74%). 9% of the population are Tamils, and few Malay, Indians, and some other ethnic groups reside there. This small city nation is packed up with tourist attractions. Thus millions of tourists visit every year. Some world famous tourist attractions are Marine bay Sands, Universal Studio, Nanyang University campus, Mustafa marketplace, Santosa Island, Gardens by the Bay, zoological garden, Orchard road, botanical garden and more.
