2020 Hourglass GIF

Time can be frightening when we think of the hourglass ticking away the seconds of our lives, but instead I want to focus on forward momentum and the unexpected joys a new dawn can bring. This looping GIF was inspired by a symbolic sense of progress and the potential for a personal renaissance this new decade brings.

Workflow: Design created in Illustrator, then animated in After Effects, rendered in Adobe Media Encoder (in Quicktime format), and converted to a GIF in Photoshop.
